After one month of blogging
Jul. 5th, 2007 by ShaunYes I know it’s hard to believe but I have survived my first month of blogging! I published my first post on June 5th. To be honest my blog has done much better than I have ever expected. I went into this with basically no plans and no idea where I would end up.
So what have I accomplished so far?
- 23 RSS feed subscribers
- 2846 Page Views
- 832 Absolute unique visitors
- 42 Posts with 120 Comments
- 60 MyBlogLog Community Members
- Favorited 10 times on Technorati
- Alexa Ranking went from basically nothing to 639,055
What are my plans for the future?
Well my main goal is to change the design of my site. It looks like too many other blogs out there including the famous John Chow. I have even received some criticism for being a John Chow “Look-A-Like” but that doesn’t bother me at all because it’s the content on my site that really makes the difference. Regardless having a unique site and design is key to a blog’s success and there will be some changes around here coming up soon.
I think my posting frequency has been fairly stable and I am very happy with the amount of posts I created so I think that I will continue to put out 1-2 posts per day in the future.

Wow, those are some good numbers for only 1 month of blogging.

Those are some pretty nice stats for your first month of blogging
Keep up the hard work, it will pay off!! I find that 1-2 posts a day is a fair amount. Especially when you have a job and other things to do!
