I thought this was a very interesting read even now. I've recommend it to some fellow bloggers that are just getting started.

Till then,

Community - Encourage comments, email and when you get really good, start holding contests as well! Engage your reader base by inviting them to place comments so they can interact with you and other commenters.

There are a few primary concerns when it comes to blogging. It could be as simple as running your mouth off, but there comes a lot more in the form of managing your blog and the expanding community that you desire to create.

I just started blogging myself, only in the last year or so. I think it is the easiest way to get started rather then trying to learn how to build your own site.

Blogging is continually evolving, I can't beleive I didn't even know about it before..

I think almost everyone is using it to help their business grow and if not they are leaving money on the table..

Shaun, I have to admit, I like your style, you have lots of infomrmative information on here and is always a joy to return for more reading.

To Your Success

I would say that blogs have come a long way, and are becoming more and more adept at disguising themselves by focusing on added value like content management and the like. They are invaluable for reputation and crisis management, as people no longer stop to buy the newspaper, they Just Google It!
