I sold shaunlow.com
Sep. 20th, 2007 by ShaunI am very sorry guys
I have failed my readers and myself. I have been through 3 weeks of school and I am already falling behind in my studies. I just don’t have the time to put in the effort to write quality posts anymore. I have 5 hours of class per day and at least 4 hour of studying per day, not to mention I workout 5 days a week, play hockey once a week and like to hang out with my friends and have a good time on the weekend.
This choice was not something I planned on doing from the begining, I had wanted to keep this blog for as long as I lived but I started this when I wasn’t attending school and assumed I would have time during school to maintain my blog. I would love to thank all of my readers who helped me along the way and for all of you who have helped me accomplish everything that I have done so far.
I will still be reading the same blogs I do today ( you guys know who you are), but I won’t have the time to invest in my site anymore. I sold my site on sitepoint through a private sale which I am not allowed to mention how much it was sold for. Here is my last batch of link love, this is a shout out to all of my close buddies I made all along the way and this is the least I can do to thank you guys.
I will be on msn messenger everyday so if any of you guys have MSN please feel free to add me I would love to keep in touch with some of you guys! sportz_fan3000@hotmail.com
Thank you all again I am sorry for the such short notice.

Sorry if I missed anyone but I just wanted to throw this post up before they take down the site. I have no idea what their plans are for this site but this is MY last post and anything from here on is not done by me.
By the way when school is done in May I will be back on the blog scence so you guys better still be around to help me get a new blog started. Enjoy your blog carreers I had to make a choice between my school marks or blogging and school is just too important.

WHAT??????????? You actually have a real life? Can’t fault you for that can we! I know exactly where you are coming from and I’m having the hardest time the past week myself with new things coming up that I’ve had to deal with. Today I didn’t even make a post, first time in a very long time, but other thing things just keep coming up. Feel free to guest post at BlueJar and you will be missed! Just because you aren’t blogging full time doesn’t mean you can’t comment :c), so drop by when you have a second and let us know how your doing.
Thanks for tossing out some last minute link love too! Goodluck with your studies and as I said before, if you are motivated to be in school - stay there and keep going, it is the right choice. You are the best and take care! /huggles

@nomar: thanks man you have a great blog going as well I have been reading your blog since day one I get alot of ideas from you !!!
September 21st, 2007 at 11:28 am
Don’t think of it as failing your readers or yourself. You helped a lot of people by giving us useful, insightful and entertaining articles and you are taking with you the experience, friends, fans and so much more that only you can define. You have done all this successfuly.
So while it’s sad that you’ll be leaving all this behind for awhile, sometimes it’s necessary to take a step back to focus on your own journey - and that is exciting. I wish you the best and thank you for what you’ve shared. Please let us know when you return.
September 21st, 2007 at 12:38 pm
It is a shame to see you leaving

September 22nd, 2007 at 11:17 am
Just let me know when you get back so we can promote the heck out of your future blog.
September 22nd, 2007 at 8:13 pm
@ brown baron: it’s good to know you got my back, I promise I’ll be back when school is done this year
You better last that long so I still have all of my friends.
September 22nd, 2007 at 5:42 pm
This comes as a surprise… but being a college student myself, I can understand how difficult it can be, especially when you are taking a heavy course load.
If the new owners don’t have rights over the content, I would suggest saving it.. and possibly republishing it on your new blog.
Don’t waste the quality stuff you’ve written.
September 22nd, 2007 at 8:12 pm
@ maki: Yup I have a full course load and to get into the program I want I require a 3.4 GPA just to get into business at university of Alberta. Yeh we haven’t really discussed the specfics, I have already saved all of my content just to be on the safe side
September 22nd, 2007 at 9:05 pm
I know what you mean about being busy…Since I’ve been back I’ve been doing schoolwork, running errands, working out, and hanging out with friends…It’s hard to find time. Best of luck with your studies and future online ventures! Hope to see you around

Meh! Errm… I’m pretty sure you thought it through before doing it. As long as you’re happy with your life, none of the tears we’re shedding matters!
September 23rd, 2007 at 11:32 pm
Oh! Sorry to hear that you had to sell this blog. But good luck and all the best for future. Hope to see you some day back in blogosphere!
