I admit, #10 is a pet peeve of mine…. you lose weight and then end up with loose pants….I often see “loose” used in place of “lose” when writing of losing weight. ;)

I have already turned on the spell checker under tools. I don’t know what else to do. I don’t want an automatic replacement of words, I simply want a red line underneath the word that I misspelled. Please help me someone.

I am wanting my computer to put the red line under misspelled words like it does in Microsoft word and works. My friends computer does it and I’m wondering if you can do that on a PC. I want the red line under anything i type online.

I agree with the “you’re” and “your” response. I even asked a question about that one. Other common ones: there, their, and they’re or it’s and its. Another one I see quite often that I find humorous is the confusion of “lose(r)” and “loose(r).”
